     Notes from the Board of Directors

   As a member of your Board of Directors, I would like to report that all is well at Harder Hall Resort Club. We have made great improvements over the past few years thanks to you, your Board of Directors, our resort managers and the working staff. We are keeping with our past goals of maintaining our resort to a high standard and our dues at a modest increase.  We have purchased land, worked with the State of Florida regarding the wetlands, built a new, beautiful, recreation center - office building, removed and built a new dock, installed sidewalks, removed trees, built parking areas, improved landscaping, built a new playground and fenced it in. We replaced old appliances, purchased new furniture, carpets, dishes, draperies, pictures, TV & DVD/VCR players for the condos and put on new doors with better locks. We have updated our phone system and installed wireless internet to the rooms. We have re-screened patio areas in back and screened in the front to keep pests out of the condos.  We replaced roofs and gutters, repainted and are in a constant state of cleaning. Little Lake Jackson has been cleaned up. Trees and stumps have been removed to make a safer, friendlier environment. We are modernizing the pool area and are in the process of building a new state approved hot tub. We updated the filter system, new pool deck and fence. We updated laundry equipment and installed a new tool shed with a new lawn-mower. The condo bathrooms have been remodeled and replaced. Bathroom replacement was difficult because we have been booked full most weeks.  Our RCI scores are high and people love to come to Sebring for their relaxing vacation.

   We are pleased to have Gayle Dickey Chapman manage our resort. Gayle has been a great manager in past years at Harder Hall.  She has returned to replace our outgoing manager, Linda, who is now retired.

   I am proud to be on the Board of Directors and look forward to serving you in the future. Our staff is always willing to help you in any way possible.  We hope you make plans to visit your home resort soon.
